The first step is connecting with farmers we want to deal with directly – there is a long process of cupping and selecting the right specialty coffee that fits our needs.
An agronomist is involved from the start, verifying the production steps and environmental due diligence, as well as the social work for the community. When the coffee is finally selected, it is stored in Toronto so we can have total control over the inventory.
We develop a range of different roasting profiles for all the coffee we select.
We understand that every client has a different need. We have the ability to customize a roasting profile to meet that need. Customers are welcome to be part of this process.
Eh Coffee provides training for baristas at our facility or at their shop. This way baristas better understand the coffee they are serving and can pass along their knowledge to customers.
At Eh we are always trying to give back to the community. We have partnered with local farmers in Brazil to teach kids about the environment through a hands on program in which kids plant trees as part of reforestation.
